I’ve been doing training and Bootcamp sessions for a few years now and my fitness and commitment to regular exercise has improved dramatically. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about exercise and rehabilitation. He puts excellent exercise programs together to suit you and your needs to ensure you improve but at your speed and capability. He focuses on improvement being sustainable and commitment to regular training being the key. His approach is positive and encouraging and he makes exercise fun! The other people at his Bootcamps are really friendly too. I started PT sessions with Dave at the beginning of August and absolutely love it, he makes the sessions varied and fun but also challenges you too. I have noticed some amazing results in my overall fitness and starting to feel more confident in myself again. I also attend the LSP injury prevention class on a Sunday and have been doing so since the end of July and it has helped my knee problem immensely, when I started I wasn’t able to fully straighten my leg and was in pain daily with my knee now I am able to straighten my leg and pain free. I am looking forward to continuing with my PT and LSP sessions. Starting these sessions had been the best thing I have ever done for my health/fitness and wellbeing, I would highly recommend Dave.

I couldn't recommend Dave highly enough as a personal trainer. With little knowledge or will power of where to start with a fitness plan, Dave put us at ease and never made us feel anything other than comfortable while exercising (which doesn't come naturally to myself) have continued to have a weekly training session and plan to get the kids fit with the fantastic family bootcamps too.

He comes up with new ideas and as well as pushing me further, keeps me motivated – the hour goes so quickly, before I know it, it is time to finish! Now I have already completed 30 training sessions on a one to one basis and the progress I have made with his expert guidance, encouragement and professionalism has been amazing. Since booking our wedding it gave me 10 months to get in shape for it... I found Dave through some friends and he has most certainly helped me loose weight and my whole body shape has changed I found myself a lot fitter mentally and physically!! I then joined his group sessions on a Wednesday evening and Saturday mornings and what a great bunch of people so friendly and a great laugh.... I new what foods to eat as Dave would give me nutrition advice on what foods I should and shouldn’t eat... I get so many compliments from people saying how well I have done and how much weight I have lost... I can actually wear clothes I never thought ov wearing before hand it’s gave me more confidence... couple of before and after pictures if u need to get fit daves your man!

I’ve been training with Dave since September. Previously I’ve attended classes but always ended up with an injury (usually knees) and then end up stopping. From the start Dave has focused on how to get me fit whilst taking into consideration my (potential) injuries and what I need to focus on. Each week is different and I have found each one to be challenging but enjoyable. Consequently I am stronger, fitter and this has impacted on my general quality of life. I have more energy (which has been lacking for a long time!) and better concentration. I am currently preparing to run a half marathon. So far all is going according to plan and I know that it is down to Dave and his advice/classes. And most importantly - I have fun!

Dave Is a brilliant PT: really knows his stuff and creates interesting, challenging and fun sessions. His boot camps are literally for everyone, whatever your current fitness level. There's no pressure to be anything other than your best, as it is now. Dave's calm, encouraging and relaxed approach gets the best out of everyone - but don't be fooled: he works you hard without you realising it, especially in your PT sessions - and the results really show. My fitness levels, my stamina and my strength have all improved dramatically. He is knowledgeable about injuries and created a programme for my damaged Achilles that I saw improvement on in as little as 2 days. �% recommended.

I've been training with Dave since the end of January. I have lost 9'' from my hips and 7'' from my waist. My health has improved enormously and the chronic sciatica that had dogged me for a year before is completely gone. Now that the summer's on its way, I have joined his outdoor bootcamp sessions too - they are brilliant. Dave is a really good trainer who knows how to get the best out of clients, whatever their level.

Dave is a great instructor, and always welcoming. He puts us through our paces at Boot Camp, which is tough for someone who only does once a week, (my choice) but we have a lot of fun too. We are a mixed bunch with varying ages and fitness - my daughter of 14 yrs joins us too. Dave will find alternative exercises if something is too hard for any individual. The hour zooms by with a variety of circuits, competitive races and core work. I am definitely finding those muscles I'd forgotten I had had, and am consequently getting fitter. I would recommend his classes to beginners as well as those who are already pretty fit. Dave can get more out of you, than you think is possible.

I started out at boot camp which I found both fun and challenging at the same time. Working shifts got in the way so started one to one sessions which I could attend on a more consistent basis. Each session built upon the last and I could feel the difference as time went on. Even a weakness in one arm/shoulder was not a problem as the work out was adapted and helped to make it stronger.

Dave is so welcoming. For me his bootcamp has the perfect balance of great fun and hard work. The injury prevention class helps my 16 yr old daughter to strengthen her muscles to support hyper-mobility while I focus on improving my strength to help my running. It feels very personal with Daves’s quiet correction and support. Dave remembers my individual needs and is quick to adapt exercises to suit my injury. He varies exercises with individual, pair and group work at a pace to suit all abilities. It’s a great mix between personal achievement and the odd competition to keep you working hard! I like being outdoors so it’s lovely to train outside at St Margarets Bay holiday park where there is still a private feel. When I want to catch up with Gareth we don’t go for a drink or a meal anymore we go to bootcamp. It’s social not just exercise!

As a first time gym-goer, I found the support and advice from Dave enormously helpful. He is knowledgeable, patient and always encouraging. I am hard of hearing and during group sessions he always checks that I’ve understood the instructions, often signing the exercise to help me understand. It really is a session tailored to your needs. I am sure that I wouldn’t have achieved so much without his advice, I couldn’t rate him more highly.

I started sessions with Dave, after a neighbour recommended him, in September 2019 after an injury meant I had to stop running and I did not want to go down the surgical route. Best decision ever! I have to admit that I’ve never particularly looked forward to tough workouts but with Dave, he somehow manages to target all the areas in such a calm, professional and clearly explained way that the sessions fly by. If, for any reason, I have to skip a session I genuinely miss it. He has managed to increase the strength around my knee brilliantly, as well as, targeting other specific areas I wanted to address. He mixes up the workouts so I’m always learning new techniques and never get bored. He is so knowledgeable when it comes to rehabilitation and I am definitely feeling stronger and so much fitter. Highly recommend him.

I have been training with Dave now for a couple of years. As I am a very amateur triathlete, I regularly cycle, run and swim, but my indoor training was non existent. I did not have the enthusiasm for strength and core work. This is where Dave comes in. He works with me on my core, weights, strength and conditioning. He is aware of my fitness and works around what races I have coming up. This has all helped in my overall well being and fitness. For anyone looking for a PT I would thoroughly recommend Dave.

I have had regular training sessions with Dave for just over a year, initially by myself in the gym, and now a joint session with my wife at home via Zoom. We try to have a session every few days and I would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking for a personal trainer. The sessions are always varied and very well thought out, my wife and I have suffered with various long-term minor injuries in recent years, probably caused by bad training practices!
